Billy was a playing regular in the 80’s and 90’s and for a period of time also fulfilled the role of fixture secretary for the club.

In recent times he has been an avid spectator attending both Phoenix and Knights matches on a regular basis, and even when he didn’t make a game he would be enquiring how the teams got on.

One of the genuinely nice blokes in rugby, he will be sorely missed and we offer our condolences at this time to Sarah and the family.
